Buwa is a consciously competent acronym closely related to the Sesotho word "Bua" which mean to be free to Speak or to Speak,
This group is created for any living person who believes in their freedom of speaking and existing. It is for any living person who believes in erasing any misconstrued lines so they can be themselves largely focusing on women issues as a WHOLE irrespective of Race, Colour, Social Class or Sexual Orientation.
BUWA is a movement seeking to give non-normative people an opportunity to stand united with the aim to empower those who do not conform to societal norms in all aspects of their existence. It provides a safe space to Entertain, Engage, to Learn and to Liberate Ignorant Minds around matters pertaining to sexuality, womanhood and gender through Art, Film, Music and Poetry.
In the heart of our everyday lives there are silent issues that yearn to be unrestricted which are most likely a common sentiment among many individuals we stumble upon day to day.
