Is race and homosexuality separate? Does race matter if you're gay? Is being gay in different cultures make a difference? Aren't we all the same people in the end? Is it easier/harder depending if you're white or black or otherwise?
This week's discussion is "Racism in the Queer Community" which will be facilitated by Natalie Donaldson from the Psychology Department. This is part of the Pride Week line-up so pull through to share your story or simply to listen :)
You know the drill, we start at 7 pm at the Union. Coffee, tea, juice and snacks will be served. Cash bar will be available too so bring cash if you're keen. Just remember in moderation.
Come through early so we can get comfortable and begin at 7 sharp!
Invite anyone you think might be keen to join in! :)
